The GP2X is, in many aspects, a refinement of what was done with the GP32. But don't take that to mean the GP2X is just a rehash of the GP32 because it's anything but (if you want that, look into the GPKiDS). It's a powerful, versatile, and (truly) open-source platform that will have a lifespan as long or longer than its predecessor. These links will help educate you further on the GP2X hardware.
