Gamepark newbie v3

   Emulation
Like it or not, emulation is the #1 reason many (if not most) people purchase a GP2X. And it's not hard to understand why; the thought of playing the games you've grown up with (and maybe discovering some gems of the past that you missed) in a portable form is an amazingly appealing one.

In this section, I will list each console or computer emulated to any degree on the GP2X. If it is not listed here, there is no emulator for that machine yet (and, depending on the system, there may never be). I will highlight the best emulator for each system and comment on some of them and their performance. Wiki entries provide a wealth of extra information, like developments history and compatibility lists. Additionally, I will list alternative emulators. For more answers to your emulation questions, check out Emulation Speculation on GP2X wiki. This section will be continually updated as existing emulators improve and new ones appear. They are listed in alphabetical order by name of the system. Anyway, enjoy!
